What is MRPLN?

MRPLN is an AI-powered omnichannel marketing platform. It builds a tailored communication plan from your brands, content and customer data, automates sending across Email, WhatsApp and SMS from one place, and gives you analytics and AI insights from the results.

It is built for marketing teams that run recurring customer messaging across more than one channel — marketing and digital agencies managing several client brands, and multi-location businesses such as clinics, studios, dental groups and retail with a real customer list.

The three services

  1. Planning — the AI generates time-based marketing tactics from your brand details, content inventory, customer personas and goals. Plans respect your working days and hours, and can include both digital and non-digital tactics. Available on every plan.

  2. Automation — approved tactics are scheduled and sent automatically across Email, WhatsApp and SMS. Requires approved templates, a configured sender, and explicit customer opt-in per channel. Available on Business and Enterprise.

  3. Analytics — performance dashboards and AI-generated insights on what was delivered, opened and engaged with. Available on Business and Enterprise.

The AI agents

  • Campaign Planning AI-Agent — builds the plan from your inputs. All plans.

  • Analytics AI-Agent — generates insights and answers questions about your own data. Business and above.

  • AI Studio — template recommendations and tactic proposals. Includes Template Recommender (goal + channel + segment) and Tactic Proposer (goal + dates + focus segment).

  • Marketing Brain — extended AI reporting. Enterprise.

What MRPLN does not do

We are specific about this so nobody is surprised after buying:

  • No social media post scheduling. MRPLN does not publish to Facebook, Instagram, X or LinkedIn.

  • No AI content creation on standard plans. No blog posts, captions, images or video. An AI Content Studio for templates exists for Enterprise on request only.

  • No two-way messaging by default. You can send first messages and review replies in Message History. Full two-way is Enterprise on request.

  • Non-digital tactics are planning-only. Face-to-face meetings and phone calls appear in your plan but are never auto-sent.

Who is responsible for what

You own and approve the content, and you are responsible for collecting customer consent before any channel is used. MRPLN provides the platform, secure processing and the compliance controls — consent checkboxes, automatic unsubscribe handling and opt-out keyword support.

Marketing automation and sender management

MRPLN acts as your technology provider across three channels. Automation is available on Business and Enterprise only — Free Trial and Professional are AI planning with manual execution.

Before anything can send, three things must be true for that customer and channel: the customer has opted in, the message uses an approved template, and the sender is configured. Miss one and the tactic stays planning-only.

WhatsApp Business — Business and Enterprise

Connect your WhatsApp Business Account through Meta's embedded signup, create templates, and manage your WABA from inside MRPLN.

  1. Go to Sender Management → WhatsApp tab.

  2. Enter your business information: business name, email, phone number, website and category.

  3. Click Connect with Meta to open the Meta Embedded Signup flow.

  4. Complete Meta business verification — grant permissions, then select or create your WABA.

  5. Configure your payment method in Meta Business Manager. This is required before any message can send; you pay Meta directly.

  6. Wait for account review, typically 1–5 days. You can create draft templates while you wait.

You also get real-time WABA status tracking, template creation with submission to Meta, and account health and quality-rating monitoring.

Limits: Business 2,000 messages per month, Enterprise 10,000 per month. These limits control your automation schedule only — Meta bills the message costs directly.

Email sender — Business and Enterprise

A simple setup using MRPLN's verified proxy sender. Configure it in minutes.

  1. Go to Sender Management → Email tab.

  2. The proxy sender address is pre-configured for Business.

  3. Enter your Sender Name — the brand name recipients will see.

  4. Enter your Reply-To Email — where replies go.

  5. Click Save. You can now create email templates.

Emails are sent from a verified MRPLN domain, which gives high deliverability, and bounces are handled automatically. Enterprise can use a custom sender domain instead.

Limits: Business 5,000 emails per month, Enterprise 20,000 per month.

SMS sender — Business and Enterprise

Two options: register your own 10DLC number, or use an MRPLN toll-free number.

  1. Go to Sender Management → SMS tab.

  2. Choose your sender type.

  3. Option A — your own 10DLC number: enter the phone number and business name, then request A2P registration support. Registration with The Campaign Registry and A2P 10DLC verification typically takes 5–14 days.

  4. Option B — MRPLN toll-free: accept the terms and collect customer consent per policy. Ready to use immediately.

  5. Click Request Support if you want help with A2P 10DLC registration. TCPA compliance support is included.

  6. Start creating SMS templates once verification completes.

Limits: Business 1,000 SMS per month, Enterprise 5,000 per month. SMS availability varies by region.

How to deploy a campaign

  1. Go to Campaign History and open your campaign.

  2. Review which tactics are deployable and which are not.

  3. Click Deploy Campaign.

  4. Automation runs on schedule. Status updates appear in Analytics and Message History.

Deployable means opt-in is recorded, the template is approved, and the sender is configured. Non-deployable means one of those is missing, or the channel is manual (face-to-face, phone call).

Common problems: a template that is not approved stays non-deployable; a sender that is not configured blocks deployment; and WhatsApp will not send until a payment method is set in Meta Business Manager.

MRPLN user guide

Step-by-step instructions for every feature, in the order you will use them: Brand → Templates → Content → Customers → Campaign Launcher → Calendar → Sender Management → Analytics.

Visit Full User Guide

Registration and account

  1. Go to app.mrpln.com/register.

  2. Enter your first name, last name, email and password.

  3. Select your plan and confirm the billing cycle.

  4. Verify your email with the one-time code.

  5. Sign-in afterwards asks for your password plus a one-time code sent to your email.

You land in the dashboard. Set your timezone, create your first brand, then add customers and content before launching a campaign.

If something goes wrong: no one-time code means check your spam folder or resend. A failed checkout usually means the card, billing address or plan selection needs correcting.

Brand management

Brands are the foundation for AI planning, templates and campaigns. The richer the brand detail, the better the AI plan.

Fields:

  • Product or brand name (required)

  • Market description

  • Brand life cycle: Prelaunch, Newly Launched, Growing, Well Established, or Mature

  • Engagement objectives: Awareness, Differentiation, Lead Generation, Conversion & Sales, Customer Loyalty & Retention, or Education & Thought Leadership

  • Market strengths

  • Primary key message

  • Customer segment

  • DPA agreement (required)

Once saved, the brand becomes available in Content, Customers and Campaign Launcher. If the DPA box is unchecked the brand cannot be saved.

Example: create a brand for a new product line, set its life cycle to "Newly Launched", and list its market strengths so the AI recommends awareness tactics.

Template creation

Templates are the exact messages used in automation, bulk sending and sequences. Templates are on Business and Enterprise only. All templates must use supported variables and be approved before they are deployable. WhatsApp templates must also follow Meta's rules.

Email template fields: template name, subject line, display name (optional), body as rich text or an uploaded .docx or .pdf. Variables: {{customer_name}}, {{user_name}}, {{user_email}}, {{sender_name}}.

WhatsApp template fields: category, language, header (text or image), body, footer, and call-to-action buttons. Variables: {{1}}, {{2}}, {{3}}.

SMS template fields: message body, 160 characters recommended, and it must include an opt-out line such as "Reply STOP to unsubscribe". Variables: {{customer_name}}, {{sender_name}}.

Approved templates appear in Content, Scheduler and Bulk Send. WhatsApp templates go to Meta for approval first. Missing required variables cause approval rejection.

Example: a WhatsApp template using {{1}} for the customer name and a CTA button linking to your booking page.

Content management

Content is the assets and metadata the AI uses to plan tactics. It is not the same thing as a template.

Fields:

  • Content name (required)

  • Content description

  • Channel: Email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone call, or face-to-face

  • Key objectives (multi-select)

  • Content tune: Expressive, Analytical, Creative, Emotional, Decisive, Not Applicable, or Other

  • Brands (multi-select)

  • Templates — approved templates only, one per channel

Content then becomes selectable in Campaign Launcher, and linked templates allow automation once approved. Limits by plan: Free Trial 10, Professional 50, Business 100, Enterprise 500 content pieces.

Example: "Holiday Promotion" content linked to Email and WhatsApp templates, connected to the "Winter Collection" brand.

Customer management

Customers are the people who receive your campaigns. Consent and channel details decide what can be sent.

Fields: full name (required), prefix, email (needed for email sending), phone number (SMS), WhatsApp number, company name, brand assignment (required), monthly communication frequency (1–12), preferred channel (multi-select), customer persona, engagement objective, category A/B/C, assign to team member, notes, opt-in per channel for Email/SMS/WhatsApp, and policy agreement (required).

Bulk import:

  1. Open Customer Management → Import.

  2. Download the Excel or CSV template.

  3. Fill the required columns: name, brand, objectives.

  4. Upload the file.

  5. Confirm opt-in and the policy agreement.

  6. Resolve any validation errors.

Limits by plan: Free Trial 50, Professional 150, Business 1,000, Enterprise 5,000 customers. Bulk delete is available on Business and Enterprise. A customer without a brand cannot be saved, and without opt-in that channel is blocked.

Example: upload 500 customers from your CRM, assign them to Brand A, and select Email and WhatsApp opt-in.

Campaign Launcher

Generates an AI marketing plan for a defined time window using your brands, content and customers.

Fields: campaign name (required), content type (All, Email, WhatsApp, SMS, phone call or face-to-face), brands (multi-select), customers (all, selected, or by category), working days, working hours start and end (required), start date (today or later), and end date (maximum 30 days from the start).

The AI generates tactics inside that range. They appear in Campaign History and the Calendar, and deployable tactics are ready for automation. You review the plan before anything is sent.

Common problems: a date range over 30 days fails validation; with no content or customers the plan cannot generate; missing working hours is a required-field error.

Example: campaign "Spring Promo", 1–31 March 2026, Email plus WhatsApp, customers in categories A and B, working hours 09:00–17:00.

Consent and data management

Consent is required by law before any email, SMS or WhatsApp sending, and MRPLN enforces it in the product.

How consent is captured: a checkbox confirmation when a customer is created, and a consent step during bulk import.

How opt-out works: email gets an unsubscribe link added automatically; SMS honours the STOP keyword; WhatsApp honours STOP, OPT OUT and UNSUBSCRIBE. Opted-out customers are excluded automatically and stay excluded until they give consent again.

Customer records are scoped by account and visibility settings, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest. A customer cannot be saved with the consent box unchecked. The binding consent and privacy text is the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.

Scheduler: appointments and sequences

Scheduler automates appointment reminders and multi-step sequences. Business and Enterprise only. Business gets 100 appointments a month, 10 sequences with 5 steps each, and 50 active deployments. Enterprise gets unlimited appointments and sequences, with up to 10 steps per sequence.

Appointment fields: title, meeting link (optional), date and time, timezone, customers (multi-select), reminders (channel + template + hours before), and follow-ups (channel + template + hours after).

Follow-ups only send after an appointment is marked Attended. Marking it No-Show blocks follow-ups, and Cancelled stops both pending reminders and follow-ups. Email and SMS templates can use {{scheduler_link}} to insert the meeting link.

Sequence fields: sequence name, description, and steps, where each step is a channel plus a template plus hours after the previous step.

Example: an email reminder 24 hours before, a WhatsApp reminder 2 hours before, and a follow-up email 12 hours after attendance is confirmed.

Calendar and scheduling

The calendar is a visual timeline of AI tactics, manual tactics and bulk sends. It is in the app on every plan. Automatic sending from a tactic still needs Business or Enterprise, plus opt-in, an approved template and a configured sender.

Manual tactic fields: customer, channel, date and time, template (required if deployable), notes, interaction type, and a deploy toggle that only activates with opt-in plus an approved template.

Example: add a manual WhatsApp follow-up to a VIP customer after a campaign ends.

Analytics and AI Studio

Analytics shows results from deployed campaigns plus AI-generated insights. The dashboard is on Business and Enterprise; Marketing Brain is Enterprise.

The cards are counts: Sent, Delivered, Opened (Read on WhatsApp), Delivery issues and Pending, plus a trend chart for your chosen dates and channel. SMS does not report opens, and link clicks are not tracked on current sends.

How to use it: select a timeframe (7, 30 or 90 days), select a channel, then pick a query from the dropdown library — there is no free-text. Use Quick Analytics for fast answers or Conversation for deeper insight.

Analytics questions asking for a person's email, phone or name are refused. Written summaries use counts and ranks, never the contact row.

AI Studio tools: Template Recommender (goal + channel + segment) and Tactic Proposer (goal + start and end date + focus segment).

Example query: "Top performing WhatsApp campaigns last 30 days".

Industry ranges quoted elsewhere — email delivery around 60–80%, opens 15–25%, clicks 2–5%, SMS delivery 70–90% — are illustrative only. They are not your account and not an MRPLN average. Your own dashboard count is the number that matters.

Message history

Shows WhatsApp and SMS conversations, delivery status and replies. Select the WhatsApp or SMS tab, pick a date range, turn on auto-refresh if you want it, and open any conversation to read the history.

Direct replies are free-form and do not use a template. For WhatsApp, the conversation must start with an approved template; once the customer replies, there is a 24-hour window for direct replies. Direct send is on Business and Enterprise.

Integrations and Zapier

Zapier connects MRPLN to 6,000+ apps. Zapier and the partner API are on Business and Enterprise. Creating, updating and searching customers works on every plan, but sending a message through the API needs Business or Enterprise plus an approved template and a configured sender.

Setup: go to Integrations, generate your API key, open Zapier, connect MRPLN, paste the key, and build your Zap.

Triggers: New Customer. Searches: find a customer by email, phone or WhatsApp. Actions: Create Customer, Update Customer, Send Message.

Use cases: Typeform → create customer → send WhatsApp welcome. Shopify order → create customer → send email receipt. Calendly booking → start a reminder sequence. HubSpot lead → sync to MRPLN → trigger a campaign.

Team management

Manage team members, roles and visibility. Business allows 5 users, Enterprise 30. The Team page is available to the account owner and admins.

Invite fields: email, first and last name, role, and visibility (Full Team Access or Own Data Only). Full Team Access sees customers, campaigns and data created by anyone on the team; Own Data Only sees just their own.

An invite email is sent and the member stays Pending until they accept.

Example: the owner invites a marketing lead as Manager with Full Team Access, so they can run campaigns but cannot touch billing.

Usage limits

The Usage Limits card shows your current plan usage against its limits: brands, customers, content pieces, templates, AI plans used this month, Email, WhatsApp and SMS messages per month, and your subscription period start and end dates.

Also enforced in the app, though not shown as separate lines on the pricing card: Business gets 100 appointments a month, 10 sequences with 5 steps and 50 active deployments; Enterprise gets unlimited appointments and sequences with up to 10 steps.

Warnings appear near 90% usage, and upgrade suggestions appear if you exceed a limit.

Data security at MRPLN

Your contacts stay on your account. We store them in the United States, encrypt them, and use them only to send and measure the campaigns you run.

Who controls the data

You are the data controller for the customers, brands and content you add. MRPLN is the processor. We do not sell contact lists, and we do not share them for anyone else's marketing.

  • A teammate you invite sees your account only, within the role you set.

  • Another company's campaigns, customers and message history are never visible to you.

  • Plan limits for sending, templates and teams are enforced on the server, not in the browser.

How sign-in works

  • The website, the app and the API are served over HTTPS.

  • Passwords are stored as a bcrypt hash. We cannot read your password back.

  • Sign-in asks for your password and a one-time code sent to your email.

  • Password reset will not reveal to a stranger whether an email is registered. A real account still needs the code.

Where data is hosted

The default storage region is the United States (AWS us-east-1). Enterprise customers can ask about another region before a plan starts.

check full at security page

What the product protects

  • WhatsApp, email and SMS sender credentials are encrypted and used only to deliver your messages.

  • Adding a customer requires you to confirm you already collected consent for that channel.

  • Opt-outs are honoured. Email includes an unsubscribe path; SMS and WhatsApp support stop keywords.

  • A delivery event is applied to your account only when it matches a message we sent for you, or a customer already on your account.

  • Payment events are verified against the payment provider's signature before any plan changes.

Personal information and AI

  • Your records stay stored in the United States.

  • Analytics questions that ask for a person's email, phone or name are refused.

  • Written performance summaries use counts and ranks, never the contact row.

  • A campaign plan is built from your own account, and you review it before anything is sent.

  • Where a model provider is used, we do not permit that provider to train its foundation models on your data. Processing can occur in the provider's region, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Who else handles a message

Only the provider needed to deliver it: SendGrid for email, Twilio for SMS, and Meta for WhatsApp. The binding list of sub-processors is in the Privacy Policy and in section 10 of the Terms of Use (the Data Processing Agreement).

How we look after it

  • Changes touching sign-in, accounts, payments or sending are reviewed before they go live.

  • Each week we confirm the live service is healthy.

  • Each month we review hosting access, database backups and library updates.

This section describes our practice. The Privacy Policy and Terms of Use are the legal text. For a security questionnaire, a sub-processor list or an Enterprise storage-region request, write to contact@mrpln.com.

Frequently asked questions

What is MRPLN?

MRPLN is an AI-powered omnichannel marketing platform. It builds a tailored communication plan from your brands, content and customer data, then automates sending across Email, WhatsApp and SMS from one place, with analytics and AI insights on the results.

How much does MRPLN cost?

There are four plans. Free Trial is $0 for 2 months. Professional is $250 per year, or $25 per month, for AI planning. Business is $5,000 per year, or $500 per month, and adds Email, WhatsApp and SMS automation plus analytics. Enterprise is custom-priced with white-label branding. New subscribers get 10% off annual plans with code MRPLNNEW.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Two months of AI marketing planning at no cost, with 1 user, 1 brand, up to 50 customers and 30 AI plans per month. Automation requires a paid plan.

Which plan do I need to actually send messages?

Business or Enterprise. Free Trial and Professional are AI planning with manual execution — they do not include sending, templates, sender management or the analytics dashboard.

Does MRPLN send WhatsApp messages?

Yes, on Business and Enterprise. You connect your own WhatsApp Business Account through Meta's embedded signup. Business includes 2,000 WhatsApp messages per month and Enterprise 10,000. Meta bills the message costs directly to your Meta Business Manager payment method; MRPLN charges only the subscription.

Can MRPLN manage several brands or clients?

Yes. Free Trial has 1 brand, Professional 3, Business 5, and Enterprise 15. Agencies typically use one brand per client, and Enterprise adds a white-label, private-label branded app.

Is MRPLN a CRM?

No. MRPLN is an omnichannel marketing and communication platform — the layer that plans campaigns, sends them across Email, WhatsApp and SMS, and measures the result. It holds customer records for campaign targeting, but it is not a sales CRM and does not replace one.

Does MRPLN schedule social media posts or write content?

No. MRPLN does not publish to Facebook, Instagram, X or LinkedIn, and it does not generate blog posts, captions, images or video on standard plans. An AI Content Studio for templates is available to Enterprise on request.

Where is my data stored?

In the United States by default, on Amazon Web Services — the database is Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL in US East, encrypted at rest, and uploaded files are in Amazon S3. Enterprise customers can ask about another region before their plan starts.

Does MRPLN train AI on my data?

No. Where a model provider is used, we do not permit that provider to train its foundation models on your data. Analytics questions asking for a person's email, phone or name are refused, and written summaries use counts and ranks, never the contact row.

Who handles customer consent?

You do. You are the data controller and must collect consent before any channel is used. MRPLN enforces it in the product: a consent checkbox is required before a customer can be saved, email gets an automatic unsubscribe link, and SMS and WhatsApp honour STOP keywords. Opted-out customers are excluded automatically.

Does MRPLN integrate with other tools?

Yes, through Zapier and a partner API on Business and Enterprise, connecting 6,000+ apps. Triggers include New Customer; actions include Create Customer, Update Customer and Send Message. Common setups are Typeform, Shopify, Calendly and HubSpot.

How many people can use one account?

Free Trial and Professional are single-user. Business allows 5 users and Enterprise 30, both with roles (Owner, Admin, Manager, Member, Viewer) and a visibility setting of Full Team Access or Own Data Only.

How long does setup take?

Email sending is configured in minutes. WhatsApp needs Meta business verification, typically 1 to 5 days. SMS with your own 10DLC number needs A2P registration, typically 5 to 14 days; an MRPLN toll-free number is available immediately. Onboarding support is included.

Can I get a refund?

Annual plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. See the Refund Policy in the Terms of Use.
